This luxurious chalet is in a small and exclusive development newly completed at the southern edge of Argentiere. The chalet borders the "ski de fond", is only a short walk from the Grands Montets telepherique and the village itself, yet enjoys a tranquil rural setting. Built in traditional alpine style, the chalet has its own private garden with a timber deck at the rear facing the panorama of the "Le Tour" ski domaine and a south-facing terrace at the front with views of the spectacular Aiguille du Midi and Mont Blanc. A first floor balcony facing the Aiguilles Rouge completes the vista. From the superbly equipped kitchen featuring a granite breakfast bar, the large open timber-burning fire with retractable safety glass front, the leather sofas and dining table in “chêne massif”, the luxury bathrooms, the convenience of having beds made up and towels laid out prior to arrival, to the fully equipped washing and drying room with facilities for drying outdoor & ski wear and boots, this chalet combines quality and practical good taste to enable guests to enjoy their stay to the full. Argentière gives you access to some of the best skiing opportunities in the Chamonix area. The Grand Montets has blue, red, black and challenging off-piste runs. The convenient buses and the metre-gauge railway give you easy access to the other ski areas including Le Tour/Vallorcine, ideal for beginners and intermediate skiers, La Flégère for the intermediate to expert skier and Le Brévent for beginners. While a top ski resort, the area also offers much in the summer months, with well-maintained and clearly marked hiking trails, climbing opportunities and other sports facilities including an 18 hole golf course.
